About Me
My name
is Vanessa Lorine Martinez and I am one busy assistant principal! I’ve
worked at Horace Mann for 12 years: 6 years as an elementary teacher in
grades 3rd – 5th, 4 years as an Instructional Coach, and 2 years as
assistant principal. I earned all three degrees from Friends University:
BS in Elementary education, BA in Spanish, and Masters in School
Leadership and my ESOL endorsement from WSU. I love to read books and
work on my computer creating things so much I had a library computer
room built in my house! I mostly enjoy spending time with my husband and
four beautiful daughters playing board and video games, going out to eat
at restaurants, drawing comic figures, and going to the movies. I LOVE
working at Horace Mann! It’s like my second home. You can catch me at
Horace Mann awarding hawk awards, handing out birthday prizes, talking
with kids, working at my computer, coaching soccer and working with
teachers almost every day of the week. It’s so much fun, I hardly
consider it work…it’s my dream job! My mission in life is to help others
reach their full potential in order to succeed! |
