About Me
I grew up in Wichita Schools my
entire life and now I am teaching in one.
I decided I wanted to be a teacher during my 2nd year of college and
also discovered my love for speaking Spanish. I did a student
exchange program with La Salle University in Cancun Mexico and that
is where I became fluent in Spanish. I graduated from Friends
University with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and also
a Bachelors degree in Spanish.
I met my husband while I attended Friends University and we now have
two daughters. My oldest daughter is in 1st grade at Horace Mann
and my younger daughter is 2 years old. Our family has a dog named
Scrappy who we love to take on walks. I love to run and exercise.
We are a very active family. We love spending time outdoors and with
both of our families.
