Teaching Strategies:
My focus is to give children the ability to understand, read, sing,
dance and enjoy music on a personal level. I work hard to integrate
music with every classroom teacher and core subject areas.
STUDENT HIGHLIGHTS:
Each fall and spring students have the opportunity to attend the
Wichita Symphony Young Peoples concerts. In addition an Opera
workshop and Kinderconcerts are brought to the school for diverse
learning opportunities. Each year students have at least on concert
to show their talent and what they have learned through out the
year. I take pride in writing these programs so that I may
incorporate elements that fit the students needs here at Horace
Mann. Special Groups are auditioned to perform for City Council
Meetings and other community activities. We love to perform, so
keep us in mind for your next event. |
