Horace Mann NewsBrief!
October
is here!
Can you believe that we are already finishing up our first
nine week period? Students
have been doing so many things--we invite you to attend our
Parent/Teacher Conferences to learn more the week of October 14-17.
We’re going for 100% conferences so please plan ahead!
Congratulations,
students and teachers, Horace Mann passed the state reading and math
testing for the third year in a row!
We raised our reading (84% passing) and math (86% passing)
scores school wide! Way
to go, Horace Mann!
Elementary
and middle school students are starting their field trips this month. Teachers
have been planning field trips that will promote student learning
and increase their understanding of the world around them.
We live in a culturally diverse community with so many places
to visit at each grade level.
